Kaw Lake covers 17,000 surface acres and has 168 miles of shoreline. It is located in north central Oklahoma near Ponca City.
The Arkansas River flows into Kaw Lake and creates a fabulous habitat for fish and produces some of Oklahoma’s largest catfish.
Kaw Lake is also home to a large population of Bald Eagles who spend the winter in the area.
