New for 2023! Shore Lunch Trips available on the lower Illinois River. We leave at 6am and fish until noon followed by a freshly prepared Shore Lunch!

Lunch will consist of your freshly caught fish, fried potatoes along with other delicious sides. Sit back and relax while your fresh and tasty meal is prepared. This is the ultimate experience.

The Lower Illinois River is an 8 mile long section of the river that offers year around trout fishing for rainbows and browns.

I guide for trout by traditional means (on land not boat) and the fishing is done near the dam.

It also has a good population of stipers in the winter and summer months.

The striper fishing is done by boat near the Gore Landing camping area. The river holds the state record of 47lbs 8ozs.

I've been fishing the Lower Illinois River for over 25 years and guide for stipers and trout.
